Casa Ilios

Casa Ilios is right in the middle of the Malia strip, so it’s only a 2/3 minute walk to all the bars and clubs, and about a five minute walk to the Old Town. This was incredibly convenient. We had a standard room with a balcony, useful for drying off our clothes, and a little kitchen area with a microwave, sink, fridge and cutlery/bowls in the cupboards. Perfect if you want to make your own breakfast in the morning. The beds were clean and comfortable and there were large mirrors for getting ready. We also did NOT have to pay extra for air conditioning (as other reviews may say). We did not go to the pool but it was open until about 7pm. Panos at reception is also very lovely and understanding.

Two things: 1- The bathroom was rather small and whenever we would shower the whole room would get wet (despite it not being a wet room) and there was no bath mat. I think it needs some upgrades 2- I would recommend for young adults who plan to go out a lot, but not for families or older people because the music from the bars plays extremely loudly until about 3/4am (I think it was from the apartments own bar, ‘help bar’ actually). We weren’t able to sleep until about 5am the first night (despite getting into bed at midnight) because of the loud music and then a group of people talking outside of our door. I promise it really was that bad, could hear the song lyrics and individual voices singing along. I think the room needs better noise insulation and perhaps a door between the corridor and the outside (instead of the corridor being open to the outside)

It was a nice hotel

Unfortunately it was just off The Malia Strip and the noise was unbearable till 3.30 in the morning, the rooms should be soundproofed! If you are one of the party goers and want to stay out every night till three in the morning then this is the place for you !

Chambre grande et lit très confortable. Bon emplacement. Personnel agréable. Bar/café sympa

I like the location, the proximity to everything was great. Designated parking for guest. Simple but lovely. Everything you need for 1-2 people. Great price point for the location.
