Hotel Alt-Lennep

Gentleman was nice, tried to explain everything, which I admire. Shame that he didn't mentioned anything about breakfast which had been included in price. So I didn't try breakfast.

The whole hotel is very outdated, which wasn't a big issue, but I would expect at least a kettle and a tea/ coffee in room. Also for the winter season include a winter duvet and rug as someone can feel uncomfortable under a thin blanket. Also parking has been tricky, especially when you have a rented car you don't want to leave it somewhere miles away which I had to. If you are looking for a cheap 1 night stopover, then this tick boxes.

This is an old-school hotel which might remember Wilhelm Roentgen as a guest. Receptionist was helpful and it the location of the hotel at the main street of Lennep was quite convenient.

The was no private parking and we had to leave a car on the street with limited free parking on the nighttime. The room was on the upper floor and to climb there with luggage was quite a challenge. Room itself was tiny but okay for one night.

Good location close to middle of town with plenty restaurants and bars nearby. Hotel looked nice, room was a decent size. Free street parking right outside although I had to leave before 9am to avoid a ticket (I'd planned to do that anyway)

Bar closes early, no food available... not much of a problem to be fair given the proximity of many options

The Hotel was really old but Not in a good way. The bed was fine even though the matress was Split up in two. The bathroom was very small. Not to great For that price in my opinion but Overall fine für a night or two.

One of the most charming and welcoming places I have stayed in years. The owners are very accommodating and friendly. I’m looking forward to my return trip. Nice intimate bar for gathering of friends or colleagues.
