There was no breakfast or coffee offered. Coffee being offered would change the experience. Something so simple can enhance the experience.

I reserved a room, drove 6 hours from North Carolina and when I showed up the front desk clerk refused to check me in because she said Motel 6 checked in someone else. I was still charged for a stay I was turned away from

If someone has a reservation give that person a call saying you're giving their room away and don't charge people after the fact
