Under Canvas Lake Powell-Grand Staircase

Very nice property, very original concept, super friendly staff, good location.

- The overall confort is quite limited (too limited) in regards of the high price paid for these rooms. - The bathroom is very basic (poor equipment and limited volume of available warm water), and the battery pack in one of our tents did not work properly.

There were metal objects lying on the property's private road, which damaged my tire. Since it was Sunday evening, I called and texted the hotel asking for help. Unfortunately, no one responded. The hotel should be careful and inspect its roads. The tent we were assigned also had a view of the mountain wall. Many tents with beautiful views were unoccupied, but despite paying for a deluxe room, we were assigned one without a view:(

Staying here is a one of a kind experience, especially if you get a tent that allows you to see the night sky from bed. The tents were comfortable and had good amenities. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful, and the dining options were also very good. I would highly recommend staying here.
