Shiori Machiya House

Very traditional Japanese house. The location was optimal and close to everything. Very characteristic neighbourhood. Offer parking cards to park the car. Many amenities available such as washing machine, tea, fridge etc

The rooms very really small. But thats ok. Mostly what disturbed us was the renovation noises starting early in the morning next door. Really loud!

Location was perfect and convenience of check in was perfect.

Did not utilize space very well. Needed a living room and couch but instead placed the futons in the living room rather than upstairs in the additional room that was unused. We were squeezed in and had no where to sit downstairs unless we were at the kitchen table. Trash cans were small and created an ant issue so we had to place trash outside. Stairs to the 2nd floor were very steep.

Location fantastic as in Nagamachi Samurai quarter. House traditional ryokan but with all modern coms, service staff very attentive, fast in reply and accommodating. Thank you.

Great quiet location but still close to Kanazawa station. The host offered us a dinner recommendation and even booked it for us which was amazing. Property was in perfect condition had a wonderful time.
