Nicely decorated, good layout, great selection of local maps and guidebooks (understairs cupboard!), handy for local shopping.

Secure car park is good but access is a bit tight and lock / unlock from one side only.

The kitchen was well equipped and the home was furnished comfortably. parking was private and secure. It was nice to have dishwasher tabs and laundry pods available.

Some hooks or hanging area on the main floor for coats and wet hiking clothing would have been helpful. There was no freezer in the fridge. It wasn't a problem but would have been good to know before we arrived.

I liked the property and the location for all the areas I wished to visit. The property was very clean and cosy and felt like home-from-home.

Unfortunately the double bed mattress was rather uncomfortable as you could feel the "springs" through the mattress topper. Other than this everything was great.

Lovely cosy, clean and very well maintained cottage, just right for the two of us. The owners have thought of everything you could need from the well equipped kitchen, smart TV as well as books and games. Great having the parking at the back for security and loading/unloading. Location is great for acccess to Snowdonia, coast and loads of walks. Not a large choice of places to eat in Blaenau-Ffestiniog itself but excellent local shops for food, including a large Co-Op a short walk away.

We may have gone out for food and drink if there had been more choice within walking distance but in the end we saved some money and utilised the great local supermarket.
