As usual I was made to feel welcome, the staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. The food is very good especially the breakfast.

The shower in my room was faulty, however I mentioned this to one of the staff and it was rectified immediately. Excellent service as usual.

The location with free parking was excellent and it was good value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful. We liked the style of the property and decoration. The bedroom was clean and we had everything we needed. The pub had a coffee shop/bar area with sofas by the windows which was a nice place to hang out with a coffee or beer.

The room was very hot due to an unexpected heatwave. A desk fan was provided but it wasn't effective so we didn't sleep very well. The shower head in the room we stayed in was difficult to adjust so I had to hold it while I showered.

A noisy generator next to the bedroom, working all night, but accept it's part of the building. Bar closed at 10.00pm so went out for a nightcap.

Really lovely place to stay, very comfortable, spotlessly clean. Cooked breakfast was excellent. Best part was the staff, they were super friendly, welcoming and helpfull. We really enjoyed staying there.
