Front Desk Customer Service when I checked in. Breakfast needs some work. There is not enough and hard to get your breakfast everything is spread out. Cleanliness lacking in shower and the room had an odor to the carpet. You could see where there was food between the sofa and the table. Smears on the TV and mirror.

The people working there were friendly. The room had an interesting layout where there was sort of a separation between the sitting area and the beds.

We drove to this property in particular to have a pool, but unfortunately the pool was so cloudy that you couldn’t see the bottom - unfortunately this is a red flag. The other problem is that there wasn’t bedding for the sofa bed, so we couldn’t use it - again we paid the extra price to have the pool and sofa bed and neither could be used. We didn’t pull out the sofa bed until bedtime, so it was too late to wait for someone to fix it and I honestly just couldn’t be bothered as we were so tired and I had just dealt with my kid melting down for an hour about the pool. Would have been better to just stay at a cheaper hotel when passing through.

The Hyatt is not a "local" Hotel. This is a chain, that normally goes above and beyond! We did book our stay through a 3rd party for organization. Our Rooms were listed at $179 a night! We had to pay a fee up front that brought the rate down to $139 a night. When checking in the hotel, the front staff was rude and very short. When asked why our total was still so high, we were basically told either pay the amount or go to another hotel. No explanation, no understanding. We received 1 key, because they "didn't have enough". We then had to go back down 3 times to get the key re-done because they keys wouldn't work. For the price we paid and the additional fees we paid, that we were not made aware of. We could have stayed elsewhere and received better customer service. The room was clean, but again not up to the $179 per night clean.
