Great location, only 2 minutes walk to the famous steps; very friendly and helpful host

I would like to have known the apartment was on the 3rd (or 4th?) floor with no elevator. Also that a private bathroom did not necessarily mean an en-suite bathroom.

L'Accueil est très sympathique ,et l'emplacement exceptionnel au centre de la ville.

La salle de bain privée se situe à l'extérieur de la chambre dans le couloir.

"Unique experience, you will not find such hosts elsewhere"

The owners are unique and exceptional. Such a welcome you experience once in a lifetime. Salvatore reserved a parking lot with his own car, they waited for us in front of the palace, arranged for the luggage to be carried to the apartment, immediately shared all the information needed and beyond. The view is simply amazing. And then the breakfast, with own fresh pack of traditional Sicilian sweets for each apartment . They couldn’t be more open hearted. All the rest is just fine, nice and clean room with amazing view.

"Matig onderhouden accommodatie op sublieme locatie"

De beheerders krijgen een 11 op schaal van 10 voor het enthousiaste, hartelijke ontvangst. Ze hielden een parkeerplek voor de deur voor ons vrij door er tijdelijk een eigen auto te parkeren. We werden overspoeld met informatie over de bezienswaardigheden en restaurants. In de ochtend was het ontbijt op z'n Italiaans; een paar zoetigheden en een cappuccino.

De sublieme locatie en uitzicht zetten de lat hoog, maar de inrichting en het onderhoud van het gebouw blijft daarbij achter waardoor de natuurlijke grandeur van het historische gebouw niet tot z’n recht komt. Denk aan afbladderende verf, loszittend behang, niet goed sluitende ramen en deuren, lelijk afgekoppelde verwarmingen, lekkende douche. En ga zo maar door...

Podobało mi się wszystko. Piękny pokój z łazienką w samym centrum miasteczka, dodatkowo możliwość zaparkowania auta na dziedzińcu za niewielką opłatą. Ale najbardziej podobała mi się wspaniała i serdeczna Tina - gospodyni obiektu. Rano przepyszna kawa i słodkie, jeszcze ciepłe ciastka i ciasta. Pozdrawiam Cię serdecznie TINA 😘
