Location was fine with great views from my bedroom balcony but waste scrubland and derelict play area immediately behind property. As with most greek islands you have to put used toilet paper in the bin besides the toilet, I cought up with the owner to ask why mine hadn't been emptied after two days I was told it wasn't a hotel and that it would only be emptied every three days, unhygienic, health hazard and simply unacceptable!!!!

"Great location"

Great location Lixouri is a lovely place. The apartment is in a great location right next to the beach which has a nice snack/drinks bar. The sea was lovely and warm, the beach was clean and not crowded. Lots of great places to eat nearby and shops. The ferry to the capital city is 5 minutes walk from the apartment. There is a lovely square in the town a few minutes walk from the apartment where you can sit in the evening to enjoy food/drinks and live entertainment.

The apartment had everything we needed apart from coat hangers and cooking utensils. There is a nice supermarket and a hardware store in the same street so we were able to purchase what we needed from there easily. The air conditioning was a little weak, with a single unit in the main living area so it was a bit warm at night but ok.
