We love staying at the Dora, we've stayed in a few places in St George South but we always stay here if they have vacancies.The room we stayed in had recently had a makeover and the new decor is lovely. ( I wish I had taken photos but you can see them on the website)The room itself is clean and comfortable as are the beds, my partner and I slept well which is unusual for me. The kitchenette area is small but functional with the usual appliances..hob, kettle, toaster fridge etc. Air conditioning and safe are also available if wanted or needed. The pool area is clean, quiet and well maintained, I had it completely to myself at one point, other residents drift back and forth throughout the day.There's only one main road that runs the length of the resort and everything is either on it or just off it, The Dora is perfectly situated close to the amenities of the resort, there's a supermarket at the end of the driveway ( 1 or 2 minutes walk) the long sandy beach is only about 5 or 10 minutes walk away and it continues right around the bay. There are plenty of places to eat and drink, the Panorama restaurant across the road is lovely and the perfect place to watch the sun go down over the sand dunes across the bay. About half way down the driveway there is a grassy area which is available to park on if you've hired a car. Everyone from the owners to the cleaners are friendly, helpful and efficient.

Having to leave

Only the location is good, close to shops, bars, restaurants etc.

The studios are very outdated, especially the toilet and shower need to be renovated. The kitchenette, the cutlery and pans need to be modernized. The towels were old, grey and weren't changed, only on request. No TV in the rooms, WIFI signal was very unreliable. The price for 70 euro / night is not justifiable for the service they offer. The host, Kosta, is only found in the restaurant across the road by asking around on arrival.

Excellent host - Kostas - he was helping with any problems fast. Nice yard with many flowers. Pool is very good and clean, with sun umbrellas and sun beds. I would also recommend you to visit his restaurant - Panorama - on the cost near apartments: excellent sunset view, very good cousine.

Well, I'd propose to clean rooms at least 1 time per two days.

Comfortable beds, nice pool, air conditioning, helpful staff. Close to restaurants, markets, bus station and the beach.

The refrigerator was noisy, we turned off for the night. The furniture is a bit old but it's fine.

The pool was very clean, as were the rooms. I am a solo female traveler and felt safe at this facility. Right outside of the property are stores and restaurants, I felt safe walking around at night alone.
