The River Hills Motel - Algoma, WI - Near Door County

Issue we had was the limited signage. The room numbers were not sequential. Our room was in a short distance away from the main buildings. Our building was behind and was not visible in the dark. We had to get out of the car and explore the area.

The hotel was clean. There is no reception person, check in is automated. The bed was very hard.

Great place to stay. We will be coming back. Staff were helpful and friendly. When we needed something they would help. Love the lobby with extras in there.

Self check- in is very convenient. The room is nice and clean.

We were visiting door county and stayed at the river hills Motel. It was a perfect stay. Lovely room with all amenities as described . Very neat and clean , well maintained . Smooth check in and chcek out. Very aesthetic set up and event detail of deco and room taken special care of . Easy access and easy to find.

Fine for a one night stopover. Pretty pricey for room size and location. Noisey toilet and shower that has limited pressure so if someone else is showering, you have very limited water. Contactless so if you have problems you’re talking to a blank screen.
