The pool and terrace, beautiful location and views.

This is not an agriturismo, just accommodation on a farm. Grill was filthy, couldn’t be used. Parking was far away. Supposed WiFi was non existent and with no network services, made planning impossible. Blankets, keys for bedroom terrace doors to get fresh air, all had to be requested and took days.

Good location and with a outdoor pool for a quite and relaxing stay with family. Most of the important cities like Florence, Pisa , Siena and San gimignano are reachable by car under 1 hour. Super market Coop is just 5 minutes drive from the stay.

Internet was down for a couple of days during our stay. Staircase to our apartment was not that clean and was with a lot of spider webs.

Very nice pool and groomed outdoor area. Perfect location in Tuscany for day trips to all important cities.

The apartment could be cleaner, the sofa bad is really uncomfortable and the WiFi is quite unstable

Beautiful location! So fun to see the horses and explore the property. If there was ever a problem the host was responsive and did their best to resolve it. Sunset views were amazing and the pool was nice to have on hot afternoons.

Our kitchen window was missing a screen and we would of loved to have the windows open with the beautiful weather, but unfortunately the flies would come in every time. The bedroom windows did have a screen so we could sleep with those windows open. The wifi really only works in the outdoor areas. (I understand people don't come to Tuscany for wifi but if needed for work this is a important to note)

Well located between Florence and Siena, although no local nice restaurants really. Lovely setting overlooking hills, great pool (cold though!) and communal eating areas.

I found check in and general customer service was not great. We arrived at check in and had the wrong code and then struggled to get hold of the rental company in a timely way. I felt like they were cheap with basics like washing up liquid, toilet paper etc - be prepared to bring all the basics with you.

Quiet, isolated place. Big appartment. Nice swimming pool.

Poor wi-fi. No control over air conditioning. A lot of flies and nothing to kill them.

Beautiful location, ideal base to explore Tuscany. Ample parking, very quiet and peaceful. 10 minutes from two local supermarkets (Coop and Lidl, Coop is bigger)

No curtains so used a blanket to block the windows. Some people may prefer no curtains but it would be nice to have the option. We stopped for 6 nights so a nice touch for us would be a cupboard with condiments like you find in airbnb's e.g we bought a full bag of sugar but only used a small amount so left the rest for another guest.

Bad for kids is disaster

a) The happy rentals manager and the property owners were very responsive to our requests and kind. b) Tucked away in a nice and quiet location. Beautiful property surrounded by olive trees. Very Tuscan in nature. Receives good amount of light and air. c) On the front side, you get a sneak peek of the typical rolling hills of Tuscany with Cypress tress perched up here and there and the vineyard on the property. d) On the back side you get a splendid view if the Olive tress on the property on an inclination. The owner told us that there are ~2000 trees. e) Nice separate/dedicated parking space for cars, surrounded by tall cypresses. d) Pretty accessible to different parts of Tuscany: - Pisa: ~50 mins - Florence: ~35-40 mins - Also nice drive along Val D'Orca and to Siena (both could be covered in a day) - Lucca: ~1 hour - Vinci town: ~1 hour f) There is a Lidl in Castelfiorentino which is about 8Kms away from the property. g) The washbasin corridor and bathroom are senior friendly (although we did not need them at this stage in life). h) There is a horse stable + training camp at the bottom / base. Property offers a pretty challenging terrain for those who're up for it and don't want to miss out on their body workouts while holidaying.

On to the details: a) Wi-Fi & cellular network only work outside the accommodation (Gallanero) on both front & back sides. Thus, if you're on the couch / at the dining table / on the bed / in the kitchen (basically anywhere inside the accommodation), it just doesn't work. When the weather is splendid, this can be overlooked. Not otherwise. b) The accommodation (Gallanero) had a strong musty smell upon entering each time! The living room wall seems to be wet during the wet periods/winter or water seeping (also visible clues on the wall). Maybe this disappears in the summer season. We were probably one of the first guests of the season & experienced this inconvenience. We did out best to cross-ventilate the entire space during our stay there. But, of course one can't leave without locking the doors, which is again when the musty smell starts to accumulate only to welcome you back with a big unpleasant blast. c) Quality of kitchen utensils (ladles) and cookware (pans) can be made better! Cheap plastic / aluminum ones feel flimsy and unsafe! c) The bed in Gallanero is not very comfortable on the left-side. Has indents/dents from regular use / wear. d) Some areas both inside and outside the property were not cleaned. I had to do some cleaning myself. However, some parts were also cleaned upon request. e) Bathroom: - All hanging rails such as the radiator/towel warmer & shower curtain rod had quite some lint/dirt/dust on them. I had to clean them myself (noticed just after laying nice white towels on them). - The shower space doesn't have any shelf/niche to hold your shower essentials. f) As per the books, the pool was probably open to be used. However, again, as it was just the start of the season, although there were warm days we were not sure if the pool could be used as the base was murky & had lots of leaves. g) Average toiletries for a long stay.
