It is a bit of an older facility, so it's a bit " aged " but very clean and the position more than makes up for it - rooms are airy & bright, the staff is friendly, breakfast was good so the overall experience was very nice

Our tour group spent one night at Bentley after flying from Cape Town earlier in the day. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast delicious. The location close to the airport was a bonus.

"Perfect guesthouse in Durban"

Spacious comfortable rooms. Spotlessly clean. Right on the beach....you could hear the waves! ❤️ Amazing staff. Cooked breakfast supplied every morning was seriously a big plus. Only minutes drive to anywhere! Quiet location. We will definitely be back!!

Friendly staff. Lovely see view from the room. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was nice and big. Loved the bath. Rooms are all very beautiful.

Breakfast could have been better.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed linen was good quality The sound of the sea was very pleasing

The breakfasts were mediocre. Çleanliness not 100% as one would expect from a hospitality establishment. Around the bottom of shower door, along the rail of the outside sliding door were grubby. The kitchen cupboard doors and handles were noted when looking for a plate for the room, greasy and dirty.. The freezer box in the room fridge had not been defrosted for a long time. There was barely room for the small ice tray provided. Ice is a necessity in the heat of the coast of KZN. The door latch of the sliding door was patched and the lock wasn't conducive to confidence of safe locking. A strong recommendation is that the owners put in sructured carports. Parking under the trees ensure that the car was covered in bird mess. No help was offered to clean this off. It is a shame that the palm trees in all the photos on Booking.com of the front have been removed. Not one remained. The pool was murky and that's a pity. Supervision and care to detail is not present.
