Villa Valeria

Loved the decore!! This place is beautiful. Also loved meeting the hosts to leave our car with them, and they dropped us at the property. Really friendly staff which made it a lovely stay. Easy walk to the marina for boat tours, and caught a uber for 8 euro to the beach. Loved our stay here.

The location of the property is great. It is right in the middle of the old town and very walkable to all the sites and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and accommodated our early check in request. Communication was great.

It is located next door to a pub so it gets loud in the evenings. It is a 4 story apartment with a narrow set of stairs so be prepared to carry your luggage up a lot of stairs.

Very small space, narrow stairs, and bedroom up 3 flights of stairs.

The Villa is super inside, nicely decorated and comfortable. One of our party was a Quantity Surveyor and he was really impressed with the construction of the stairs. Google maps is essential to find the property when first arriving as it's in the narrow alleyways of the old town, but having found it once it was fun finding a different way back each time. We wished that we had stayed longer, we loved Split.

We would have liked a tea towel to dry the mugs but otherwise we ate out all the time as there are so many restaurants. There was nothing else that we didn't like.

The beds were very comfortable, three en-suite rooms with 3.5 baths, quite perfect for a couple and two single friends. Spectacular location within the pedestrian area, nearby “Freaky George” a take away street food and drinks bar which we found VERY handy at cocktail hour!

We managed well but be aware that this place has four floors, a common area & mini kitchen with half bath and then a room on each floor above. Many steps; the lovely housekeeping crew took our bags up when we arrived.

Right in the heart of the city, everything is at a walking distance. A cozy place all in all. Clean & has everything you need for a few days of city stay.

The street is loud at night until about midnight (especially over the weekend). The bathrooms give out a bit of moisture since they have wooden floors for shower & it doesn’t dry that fast.

Really clean, modern fixtures. It’s nice to have private bathrooms for each room and nice kitchen amenities. Great location in the palace in Old town, walking distance to the marina and beach with plenty of restaurants and shops

The bathrooms have a mildew smell after showering and the 3rd floor sink brings up sewage smells and won’t drain properly. It also would’ve been nice to have a microwave - there seems to be a lot of housekeeping closets when they could fit some other stuff. There are also bars right outside and the noise travels through the walls until the restaurants close - so if you’re a light sleeper I would bring earplugs

Excellent location, clean, has all the amenities!

Little challenging for older travelers to handle the luggage up and down the stairs, but overall, everything was good
