The Kesari Villa Sanur

Gorgeous large pool, the staff were so friendly, very spacious rooms, plenty of space for everyone including multiple living spaces, well setup kitchen, excellent location.

The reason I am writing this review is to share an honest experience. If everything goes smoothly, you will likely have a great stay. However, if something goes wrong, based on our experience, do not expect strong support from management. As travelers visiting a foreign country, we value reassurance and assistance in difficult situations, and unfortunately, this was missing during our stay. You are on your own staying at The Kesari Villa Sanur!

Two nights before our departure, there was a power outage in the evening. That night, Trisna (the supervisor) informed us that the manager wanted to refund one night. The following day, the power was still not back. We were told it was due to flooding in Bali, which of course is not the property’s fault. However, this meant no electricity, no shower, and no functioning toilet. After more than 12 hours, the power was still not restored. It was only in our street (local terminal was under the water). We still had one night remaining before our flight back, and we had no indication of when the situation would improve. As there was no proactive follow-up from Trisna or management, we started asking for possible solutions ourselves, which I believe was reasonable given the circumstances. We noticed that nearby villas appeared to have backup generators, so I asked whether one could be arranged for us. I was told that the backup generator for our villa was broken. They then offered to move us to one of their other villas, but it was about a one-hour drive away (in Seminyak). As it was already late afternoon and our last night, we preferred to stay close to the place we had initially booked, especially since neighboring villas in Sanur were available. Finally, after several hours of discussion and follow-up on our side, they agreed to move us to another villa in Sanur. About an hour later, fortunately, the power was restored, and we ended up staying in our original villa. What disappointed us most was not the outage itself — these things can happen, and it was not the property’s fault — but the lack of proactive support from management. We had to repeatedly follow up and push for alternative solutions rather than having them proposed to us. Additionally, I was never able to speak directly with the manager. I was given a phone number, but it appeared to be another staff member relaying messages. Finally, despite the commitment to refund one night, this was never processed.

Great villa, plenty of space. great for families as you have separate areas for space to chill.

Pool is too deep

The villa is huge and the pool is amazing. Quiet location that's walking distance to the main street. Beds were comfy and daily cleaning. Excellent value for money.

It was a bit hard to find. The villa was clean, but could do with some maintenance. Sticking doors, poor patch jobs, missing lights. A little bit of attention to detail here and this villa would be 5 star luxury.

Zwembad is heel lekker. Diep en koel. Bedjes zijn oké, wel weinig. Twee stuks in verhouding tot vier slaapkamers is niet oké.

De keuken werkt niet, geen afwas mogelijkheden, geen afwas sop en geen doekjes. Geen koffiemachine, geen waterkoker,

Отличная вилла, с удобством разместились 6 человек. На кухне есть всё для приготовления разнообразной еды. Прекрасный бассейн. Остались очень довольны проживанием на данной вилле. Ежедневная уборка и отзывчивый персонал. Спасибо Вам за прекрасный отдых на Бали. Рекомендуем данную виллу!

It is huge and quiet

Took a while to be able to find the property and it was a bit out of the way
