Overlooking Lago di Varese 'il Sasso Bianco' is an excellent B&B on a great location (with free parking next to the house) with a fantastic host. Although it says 'plunge pool' on Booking, there's a great swimming pool in the garden to cool off. The host Franco is very friendly and goes out of his way to make you feel at home. Spacious bedroom and a very luxurious bathroom. The breakfast is extensive and Franco really tried his best to offer a vegan breakfast - great soy cappuccino's! :)

Of course the B&B was so popular that we couldn't add an extra night :(
