The staff are all super nice. We saw the auora borials. They lit a fire pit and had gas heaters on the patio. It was a good place to stop before advancing to Anchorage to fly home. But, the room #8 has a bad odor (probably the carpet), and the shower needs a new shower-head as it was all clogged and spraying in different directions.

The main lodge is beautiful but…our room was in a separate building. It felt like we were staying in employee housing or maybe a room added to a basement. Two beds with blah bedding thrown on,small bathroom & some shelves. Thin walls . The room had mobile home paneling. I could hear next room even with ear plugs. The property is lovely. The restaurant very nice. But all & all it was just a place to stay.
