Die absolute Alleinlage des Hauses ist traumhaft, es ist ruhig und stimmungsvoll. Die Kinder konnten sich draußen gut austoben, ohne dabei Nachbarn zu stören. Rehe beobachten und der sehr liebe Nachbarshund Paul zu Besuch, insgesamt ein Idyll.

Die Regulation der Temperatur im Haus (altes Bauernhaus mit dicken Wänden) war zu Beginn etwas Glückssache (wir hatten die ganzen Tage über Regen), der Ofen ist dann tlw. auch nachts laut angesprungen. Als altes Haus, das es ist, gabs auch spezielle Gerüche, an die man sich erst gewöhnen musste.
