Airport Residency Bangalore

If you want somewhere to stay overnight to catch an early flight, this place is fine. I have stayed 4 times. There is never any hot water, but it's hot Bangalore and the cold water is lukewarm anyway. This time they tried to charge 40% more than advertised on Booking.com, but when I showed the confirmation email, there was no argument. TBH, I think the problem was that they couldn't believe a white bloke didn't want Air Conditioning, but have the confirmation email to hand. The room was big and clean, and had a kettle (no cups, or tea bags, just the kettle) but the view was of a concrete wall 4 metres from the window. Evening meal was a takeout from a local restaurant, but we told the reception what we wanted and they organised it, and we paid cash to the delivery driver. The food was nice. Had to pay the whole bill in cash as like many smaller organisations in India they don't take foreign credit cards (bank charges are very high). Didn't have breakfast as we left at 3.30am for our flight, but I did want a cup of tea before we left and couldn't get one. Hotel taxi to airport was Rs350 for a small car, Rs 700 for a big car, and it was very efficient. Overall, absolutely fine for overnight before early flight, wouldn't stay for week's holiday. You need cash to pay, so make sure you have enough, as there are no nearby ATMs.

Does not have lift and lot of mosquitos ;( deluxe room does not match with what is mentioned in the description and pictures. I put my in-laws here to keep them close to airport , they are senior citizens and they were disappointed with this property facilities and condition.

Just very below average room.

We did not get the room key and was asked to adjust. We had to insist that we need the room key. The TV was not working. There was not hot water. We were given different prices at different time for charges on airport transfer. We were first told we will get an Innova because we had 3 large suitcases, 2 hand luggage and 2 laptop bags. Then few hours before we were supposed to leave to airport, we were told only Etios is available!
