Would have been better if it had free coffee or tea but the family mart was super close anyway..

GBGreat place to stay. The family are helpful and friendly. It's ideally located for hiking trails and trains. The town is small and the people welcoming. Loved my stay here.
SGOwner is extremely caring and waited for us for late check-in. He showed us in dark to help us settle down and rest early. Very cosy and nice hostel.

GBBeautiful location in a town with many historic Meiji era buildings, only a short hike to some fantastic views of mount Fuji. The hostel itself was very nice too with a well kept garden. The owner was also exceptionally enthusiastic and helpful!
It was a bit confusing to find the check in shop, I may have been missing something.
