Fairways Hotel on the Mountain

Loved it

Very comfortable. Overnight parking was not included. Which was totally ok, but was not told by staff at check-in when parking was discussed. There was just a bill slipped under the door in the morning. I'd prefer to be told at check-in instead of bills slipped under the door, but that's just my preference. Otherwise no complaints about the actual stay, would book again.

Lovely, quiet hotel. Well appointed rooms and friendly staff. We enjoyed being out of downtown Victoria yet close enough to drive there when we wanted. We enjoyed the Sunday roast at Jack’s restaurant which is just a few steps from the hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

Nice large rooms. Clean. Staff were a bit stuffy.

Great rooms, size, cleanliness and quiet

The room was very comfortable and quite large. We weren't quite expecting the size or the amount of space covering the kitchen and living area as well as the large bedroom and bathroom.

The gentlemen on reception was helpful enough but not the friendliest personality we'd struck on our travels. My wife and I both felt the same. Not bad but not great as the first impression when we arrived.
