Manchmal vermisste ich etwas Komfort, aber an eher irrelevanten Stellen. Ich vermute, es wurde absichtlich dem Minimalismus und Design zuliebe gewählt. Wie gesagt, selbst für mich war das nicht unbedingt relevant.

We had a magical time at this special place. Quiet and away from the touristy areas of The Algarve. Beautiful location and unmatched hospitality. Breakfast was fabulous as was the dinner we booked. Highly recommended.

Los detalles de la casa y la atención

The little touches everywhere are what make this place so special. From the decor, the staff, the honesty bar, the facilities. I don’t think I’ve ever photographed a place so much, it truly was beautiful. I’ve seen some odd comments about the pool, please ignore these. The pool is a beautiful addition to this wonderful place, I spent every afternoon there! Yes, the rooms are small but with a place like this, and beautiful weather, a big room isn’t a requirement (for me anyway) and the grounds of this accommodation give you all the extra space you need with plenty of places to laze in the sun, or shade. I came away for just 3 nights, with one goal, to switch off and relax, completely. Casa Modesta gave me just that and I absolutely adored my stay here so would highly recommend if that’s what you’re after. I can’t really comment on the location as I didn’t venture out too much but if you don’t have a car, use Uber as there’s not too much in walking distance.

The lack of soundproofing in the rooms. This is absolutely not the fault of the property or the owners, but if you end up in a room next to people that aren’t well versed in keeping their voices down late at night, then you will hear everything or get woken up, so bring ear plugs. They were a god send for me :)

L’atmosfera di pace é impagabile e l’architettura semplice del luogo ti cattura. La piscina in giardino è un piccolo lusso per non parlare della colazione servita in giardino dove, tra frutta, croissant, uova e prelibatezze ricercate, si può iniziare bene la giornata al sole accompagnati dal suono delle cicale e dallo scrosciare dell’acqua della piscina adiacente.

Casa Modesta doesn't have to be modest in any way! It is an absolute wonderful accommodation. The hosts are very friendly and make you feel right at home. The rooms and the rest of the grounds look amazing. The breakfast every morning is a feast. And... don't forget to book dinner. Alexander is a great chef and cooks a delicious 3 course menu with local products. There are free bikes available and the beautiful Ria Formosa beaches and islands are nearby. All in all, we would definitely recommended this place!

Nothing at all!

A special & unexpected find. Building was beautiful and beautifully decorated, honesty bar is a brilliant idea, food was fresh and really really good. The breakfast was such a treat and lastly the staff made you feel like you were in your own space , making yiu feel right at home. Eco trail on door step for cycling and running . We will return for sure

De rust, de stijlvolle inrichting, het ontbijt en vooral het vriendelijke personeel.

Het bed was iets aan de te kleine kant. Was te krap voor twee personen.
