Great location. Lots of choice at breakfast. Very comfy bed.

The hotel is very lacking in atmosphere and feels a bit soulless.

- Location was good for us - We were able to find free parking a few minutes walk from the hotel - The hotel was lovely and modern - Great little gym - Great reception spaces to sit and relax - nice looking eatery attached to the hotel

Pool was extremely small - 10 people allowed in at a time and it was full whenever we went to check

Fab in bathroom didn’t switch off

Hotel was very well maintained. Had a luxury feeling to it. Staff were so friendly and helpful.

Sofa cushions sunk into the sofa bed making it impossible to use as a sofa which was a shame. Also considering the price and the luxury feeling of the hotel you might have expected little extras in the room like a shower cap or biscuits.

The staff at the hotel were very good and check in was seamless. It is ideally located for Cambridge City Centre and has a secure underground car park (£24 a day for guests). The décor and furnishings were very good and it certainly feels like an upmarket establishment. The room was well appointed with a small kitchen area, table and chairs. The bathroom was spacious albeit the shower tray / floor could have done with a little updating / attention (limescale accumulation) and the sink didn't drain as it should.

We could not control the AC from within the room although there was a control panel. There was a fan running and we contacted reception at 1730 to ask if it could be turned off. They said this would be done. When we returned from our night out the fan, which was excessively noisy, was still running. It was clearly going to disturb us during the night so we contacted reception again to be told that as the hotel was a "sealed" building it was an air circulation system as opposed to AC and could not be turned off. Therefore despite the bed being comfortable we were unable to get a decent nights sleep (which is one of the main requirements for us) and had an interrupted night. We spoke with reception again in the morning and Burak (Guest Experience Manager) offered us an apology and a partial refund of 35%. Everything about this hotel shouts "Quality" it was a real shame that we experienced this issue and hopefully it does not affect anyone else in the same way.

Amazing stay in a beautiful city. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Despite a slight problem with our original booking, an immediate upgrade was offered and staff could not have been more helpful. Thank you!
