Step to Kotor bay Guesthouse

The location was perfect, near the city center but far enough from the crowd. It is located near the sea and the beach, also some good restaurants were nearby. So everything was perfect.

Just some guests using all the hot water and acting like they are alone in the accomodation, but that has nothing to do with the property.

Our host, Vukašin gave us a warm welcome and helped us check in and made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. He had great recommendations and was helpful when we had any questions. Our room was spacious and had a fridge and a comfortable bed. The shared facilities were great and always clean and maintained and we loved having access to a kitchen. The location of the hostel was very close to beaches, cafes/restaurants and supermarkets. Plus only a 15min walk from the bus station and old town. Would love to stay here again!

The accommodation was very clean and very comfy. Vukasin was very nice and helping at anytime. I recommend it.

I like the view from the apartment and balcony was stunning, I felt lucky, I got this apartment for 3 days. Also the host was very friendly and helpful. Location is as great as Montenegro is, everything was just walking distance, I was able to cover all the tourists spots easily by walking distance. I will definitely book my stay here for my next trip to Montenegro.

There was nothing which offended me, everything was good and beyond my expectations.

Les lits sont confortables, il y a une petite plaquette pour poser ses biens personnels à côté du lit. Les casiers sont assez grands pour ranger pas mal d’affaires. Même s’il y a un grand frigo dans la cuisine, chaque chambre a son propre frigo aussi. En parlant de la cuisine, elle est très bien équipée, et tout fonctionne. Cuisine moderne. Grande living room, et grand balcon avec plusieurs chaises, très agréable pour se poser. L’emplacement est super: 5min à pied de la vieille ville, et moins de 1min à pied de la plage. Le personnel est super gentil et très serviable. Le wifi marche très bien.

This hotel has a BED BUG problem and is unapologetic about it. I have 12 bites across my body, a rash caused by an allergic reaction to them, they are unsightly and EXTREMELY itchy to the point of disturbing my sleep even a week after I checked out. I was waking up nightly because of them, even days later. I had to buy antihistamine tablets and cortisone cream. I had to almost boil ALL of my clothes and wash/hoover my entire luggage at my next accommodation to try and avoid bringing any bed bugs with me both there and to my home later. Due to having to wash all my clothes at such a high heat, the colours ran and every single white item was destroyed. So this was not just an uncomfortable stay - it is having long lasting repercussions that I am having to deal with, through absolutely no fault of my own. And the hotel did not seem to care at all. I presented the receptionist with my bites and an actual live bed bug (a monster, I might add, it was huge - you can see it in the photos) and not once did he say sorry. He thanked me for telling him, and he was not rude, but he literally did not say sorry. And they still have not. They offered a part refund, which I refused as it was insulting, and then I was told that was it - I would not get a refund even though they did not provide what they said they would - decent, hygienic accommodation. Internet research later confirmed that 12 bites in 2 nights was likely the result of 4 bed bugs, given that they dont feed very often. And given the size of the one I captured, it had been there a while. So this does not seem like a new issue.

Clean place really close to the Old Town and right by the water of the bay: perfect location. The staff (in our case Vukasin) was really friendly and helpful with suggestions and clear instructions.
