The location, the cabin was perfect the ease of checking in and the close proximity to bude

Straight forward parking, self check in (just walk to your cabin). Numbers and all details in a handy wallet on the table in the cabin.

Nothing, it was better than expected, full kitchen including all pots, pans and utensils!

We love it here. Second time back. It’s peaceful and comfortable.

Clean, easily accessible.

The secluded location - peaceful and relaxing. Watching the ducks, swimming by as were large fish, which we think were brown trout. Lodge was smartly decorated; well stocked kitchen and comfortable bed.

There wasn’t anything- perhaps we thought the advertisement stating Bude was 1 mile away. We walked there and back everyday, longer via the pretty canal, shorter by main road, but undeniably nearer 2 miles. Just a small point as we are good walkers, some people may find it too far.

We booked the stay at this property for its peaceful location and natural setting. Needing a complete rest after prolonged chemotherapy treatment it was the perfect place. We were not disappointed. Every little detail was perfect, the cabin was clean and extremely comfortable. I can’t ever remember sleeping in such a comfortable bed. The position on the lake was perfect for a spot of amateur angling too. Plenty of birdwatching chances and we got to see the kingfisher up close and personal too.

Unfortunately some maintenance had to be carried out within the garden of the cabin next door one afternoon when we were there and this did disturb our afternoon briefly.
