Nanou House

This is a very nice property with an excellent situation. Although large enough for four (two bedrooms) it is perfect for two. Wifi is very good. It is very well equipped with everything one could need. Despite the main road quite close all you can hear is birdsong. The view from your sun lounger across the private garden to Puerta de la Cruz and Mount Teide is exceptional.

The beds were poor. The secondary room downstairs has very soft foam mattresses. The main bedroom upstairs had poor mattresses. One of the matresses had a depression and my 11 stone (73kg) caused it to bottom out. If you like a soft bed you are OK, if you like a firmer bed you are out of luck. This could be a major problem for some. The messages by email sent during one's stay suggesting excursions and 'things to do' I found irritating. Clickbait maybe. We were prompted to an 11.00am checkout but we were entitled to 12.00 midday, however the cleaning team did not rush our departure. These were very minor problems.

Beautiful house and garden, well-maintained swimming pool

Nanou house it is an amazing Spanish styled house with beautiful surroundings and spectacular views.

Everything about the house was perfect. Kitchen well equipped. Bedrooms spacious. Swimming pool very clean. Keep in mind it is not so dark around the pool as we imagined reading previous comments. It is perfect. Fernando and Patrick always happy to help. Great cleaning service. Tv could have more Spanish programs. Most are German.

Extraordinary garden. Wonderful view. Hospitable host. Everything was far beyond my expectations.

Maybe the matress could be a little harder but it depends on your preferations.

Everything was wonderful! The only thing I would mention is, there were MANY ants! We were there for two weeks with children, so we bought and made our own food. We bought a cake, and left it in a box on the counter. After a few hours it was consumed by ants. We learned very quickly that we had to put all food in the refrigerator, but we were having small little battles throughout the stay. It comes with the territory, but it's maybe prudent to warn people who might not understand how to deal with the small invaders. :)

From Tenerife north this is the best place to stay! Amazing house with all the comfort included! The garden and the view is stunning. The garden is big and you feel like in a mini botanic garden. It looks good in the pictures, but the reality is much more beautiful. And at night you can see Puerto de la Cruz light up. If you have a rented car you need to stay here for a true Tenerife experience!
