Hotel Alto Amazonas

We stayed 4 days in the deluxe room with a balcony and loved it. The included reakfast is freshly prepared and the coffee is strong and good. The family who own the hotel are lovely and always ready to help with anything, including setting up tours. They even drove us in to town for our river tour. It's a little out of town, so quieter but can easily get in on a bus or tuktuk. There is a large clean pool on site and with the restaurant on site we found it was easy to just hang out there for a couple of days. Wifi is good, the bed is comfortable and the hotel is secure

Deusa and her husband were amazing during our staying in the hotel. The place has a great location - not in downtown but easy access and in a very quiet area. The food is also very delicious there. We felt very well welcome and we love the days we spent there.

We loved the pools and the air conditioning - both very refreshing after being in the heat of the rainforest. The owner tries really hard to make you happy. He is very friendly. He was able to take us in his van into town and to pick up/drop off at the airport. They also have bottled water/drinks to purchase, breakfast included, and dinner. There is a TV in the room with streaming. The room itself was very spacious.

The windows do not have screens, so we didn't open them because of mosquitos. The bathroom didn't have a window, it was more like a hole with no covering, which allowed mosquitos to get in freely. The pictures of the food on Booking are not accurate as to the food they serve. Additionally, they always seem to be working on projects (no problem), but some of these projects began early, so we would wake to the sound of power tools. The beds and pillows are not comfortable. The hotel has a friendly owner, is a nice size, a nice location (away from the noise of the town center), and there is a lot of potential here that they have not quite achieved yet.

The aesthetics were cute and the male host was very pleasant and nice.

The female host was very rude and did not accomodate us in any way when we had to travel before breakfast time (letting us cook on our own, providing a refunded portion of the stay). Also made us pay for a room that was too big without asking us.

Good location, very friendly hosts, property is easily reachable from Leticia centre. There are 2 swimming pools to enjoy, restaurant open all day, and 3 cute parrots

Room was cozy, food is really good with affordable prices. Owner picked us up at the airport and drove us to the city when we needed (for a fee) or called us a tuc tuc. They also had cute dogs.

Location is great if you want to be closer to the nature but if you don't have your own transportation you must rely on the owner because it is difficult to get tuc tuc there. We were excited to use the pool but it didn't look very clean so we didn't use it.
