Barnard Self Catering Apartments

Comfortable homely accommodation. Everything you needed was there. The inside beautiful and outside beautiful well kept garden. Tranquil sound of a water fountain and fish pond. It was all round an excellent stay. You had the feeling you being spoilt and that you are on a break away from normal every day hustle and bustle. Walking Distance from shops and restaurants. We highly recommend a stay at this fine establishment.

We just want to bring the following to hosts attention: There were cups; coffee mugs and glasses on the drying rack from previous guest that had not been packed away. They were left on scullary dry shelf. We packed it away and truly did not mind but maybe other guests may think differently. Once again this did not bother us but thought would just mention it. There was no one around when we checked out. We phoned and rang the bell in order for someone to open the security gate with remote so I pressed the remote to opened the gate my husband drove out and then I ran out before gate closed. If there was instructions on what to do when checking out we missed it. But even so all was good so not complaining just bring it to hosts attention.

Unit was fully equipped and in excellent condition. Susan was an exceptional host. Made us feel like royalty from the time we checked in up to the time we left. Superb service all round.

It was a self catering facility, which I was aware of even prior. The utensils were all available no complaint

The space was very small. I would have preferred a bigger space. I guess I did not observe this from the pictures. I like a 1 bedroom (don't like a studio apartment). It was even smaller than a studio

Stay here was such a treat, Susan was so lovely and so helpful. We had a really great time!
