"AQUI NASCEU"... um alojamento de bom gosto e qualidade. Qualidade na conceção, nos materiais, equipamento e pormenores que fazem a diferença. A identificação dos alojamentos com datas importantes de Guimarães é uma prova disso, o que convida à descoberta da sua origem, dando a conhecer a sua história. Climatização uniforme em toda a área e insonorização impecável. Apesar de se situar em artéria de intenso movimento, o que é um privilégio, não se ouve uma mosca. Também não haviam moscas...! O pequeno almoço servido no quarto, de acordo com o horário escolhido pelos clientes, liberta-nos dos limites de horários. Localização com tudo em redor. O estacionamento, a poucos passos, é uma mais valia. A simpatia de toda a equipa. E..., os miminhos da D. Palmira...? Obrigada.

This is one of my favorite properties in Guimaraes, where I travel to twice a year. It's located in the heart of downtown and you can do literally everything by foot. All the restaurants, shops and attractions are within a few minutes' walk. The renovated building is modern and the layout of the rooms is very clever. There are some sliding doors revealing a very functional kitchen with all needed appliances, and some areas to relax around the room. Since our last stay they added a washer/dryer (combo unit - as in one machine that does both) and it's a tremendous addition. Even if it takes 5hrs to complete a washing/drying cycle, you can leave it running while you explore the city and come back to some fresh clean clothes, cutting your travel pack in half! The staff is incredibly friendly (kudos to Margarida at the front desk!) and the complimentary breakfast is amazing, and delivered to your room door daily! I'll be coming back to GuimaGold many times in the future!

There's really not much to not like about this property. If anything (and this is being VERY picky!), the complimentary parking at the public garage next door, requires one of the single spots to be available, if you don't want to leave your car keys with the attendants (most of the spots are tandem spots). If you need your car after they leave (7pm) then your car won't be available until 7am, as there are no overnight attendants and all keys are locked during that time. I had a couple of instances when the single spots were taken (this usually happens during the day) and ended up parking at the Camoes parking garage nearby. Although the first 2hrs are free, and the fares are very cheap, it's farther away and not so convenient, but totally manageable. The beds are hard by US standards, but not the hardest I've found in Portugal, whatsoever.

A localização, é ótima, no centro histórico e com lugar de estacionamento perto. Boa recepção e muita atenção com os hóspedes. Excelente higiene dos espaços. Com bom isolamento sonoro. Bom pequeno almoço.

Sehr saubere gepflegte Unterkunft. Zentral gelegen, dennoch ruhig. Vor der Anreise wertvolle Informationen erhalten z.b Parkplatz, Wegbeschreibung. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Struttura in ottima posizione per visitare la città, appartamento nuovo ed arredato con gusto, servizi top, speciale la colazione servita in camera con il cestino.

Très exceptionnel, avec une réception en Français, une place de parking gratuite à 50 m, un emplacement idéal pour arriver facilement en voiture et visiter à pied, le petit déjeuner inclus apporte dans la chambre, une chambre immense parfaitement insonorisée.
