Das Apartment befindet sich direkt im Herzen der Altstadt Splits. Zentraler geht nicht. Trotz dessen, dass man mitten im Geschehen ist, hat man nachts davon so gut wie nichts mitbekommen. Ein Hoch auf die schallisolierten Fenster und der Matratze, die uns hat wie auf Wolken schlafen lassen. Von der Gastgeberin gibt es vor Antritt des Aufenthalts lokale Empfehlungen (Restaurants, Strand, Aussicht...).

The location was great !

The apartment was very small, which is totally to be expected given the beautiful, old building it was in. However, it was too small to contain all of the facilities included. It has taught me to read the actual size (meters) of the apartment before booking, whereas I had always booked based on rating and facilities. We unfortunately found the apartment very uncomfortable and difficult to manage. There actually isn’t enough room for both a sofa and dining table in the down stairs room, we were unable to use the kitchen area as there was no bench space and the ceiling sloped over the sink. The bed was comfortable, but too big for such a small room - though the pillows were not meant to be used to sleep - far too big and hard - we had to use the cushions, so we didn’t get a great sleep any of our 3 nights there. The bathroom was the size of a wardrobe - had to get out of the bathroom to dry yourself. There was absolutely no storage, as a couple travelling for 8 weeks it was very unsuitable as there wasn’t anywhere upstairs for our luggage - anyways all in all, our stay was ok as we minimised the time spent inside. Would be ideal as a 1 or 2 night stay with minimal luggage for 2 people or for a solo traveller.

I think steps are everywhere in Croatia and carrying my suitcase was a little difficult but one can organise for someone to help.

The location was phenomenal once we found the place. The communications with Anja the host were absolutely first rate. She was super-helpful and very easily available on-line. The accommodation over two storeys was very well-equipped but definitely compact, especially the bedroom area.

The place is compact, especially the upstairs bedroom and the pillows were too thick for us. Anja is looking into this. Also, the nearby businesses (Craft Beer and Ghetto Academy) could be noisy at night. However, with windows and shutters closed, the problem was mitigated. If one wanted the windows open at night, earplugs would be a good idea.

Easy and fast communication. Excellent and welcoming accommodation and couldn’t be a better location!
