Hilton Garden Inn Silverstone

Can't rate this hotel higher. Everything was absolutely incredible. When we arrived we asked about any available track facing rooms, we were so pleased we did, it was perfect and I think we'd have regretted it if we didn't upgrade. The room was huge, and the bed was so comfy!

The only negative was there wasn't enough tea and coffee but we can overlook that with how great everything else was!

Bar closing early when there are still lots of people sat around.

Excellent location and especially if you love motor racing!

Cleaners came into my room at 8am when I was having a lie in!

The hotel is lovely and new and on the face of it the rooms are gorgeous - really clean and comfy. However my experience of the facilities was poor. On arriving at room 309 and just with 30 mins to chill before joining my colleagues for dinner, I found that my television didn't work and kept saying 'sorry unavailable'. I attempted to use the room phone to call reception however it wasn't plugged in and after plugging in, the phone had no dial tone so I had to ring the number I found on Google to ring externally for help. The area manager came to my room within 10 minutes and couldn't get the TV to work, called for another colleague to help and they still couldn't get it to work. They left my room after about 25 minutes. I then tried to use the wi-fi but despite adding in my surname (and common misspellings of it), it still wouldn't work. Drinks vouchers were left at reception for me but given this was a business booking, hardly very useful. The Hilton Garden Inn Silverstone is unfortunately a clear case of 'all look, no substance' - I hope to not return again
