Hotel Casa de los Arcos

The hotel, a charmingly renovated period property, is located in the heart of the village which makes it an ideal place to stay within walking distance of the castle. Check in was easy and staff attentive.

There was a problem with the plumbing on the 2nd day of our stay meaning there was limited hot water for showering. The hotel staff was very apologetic and it did not disrupt our stay. They also made amends with a complimentary breakfast. We had read that parking near the hotel would be a problem due to the narrow roads . We found something close by though. This is not a complaint as you have to weigh this up with the location, and whether you would prefer a more modern but less authentic hotel with a car park right outside. Of course, if you have mobility issues, this may not be the place to stay in as there are steep roads and some steps in this part of the village.

Very warm welcome, lovely staff, beautiful, historic building, comfortable bed, great sleep, the breakfast is excellent value. We will return.
