Manistee National Golf and Resort

It was good.

Dated rooms, small bathroom. Loud, doors slamming constantly.

The rooms were fine although a little dated the restaurant service was pretty bad not from the service point from the kitchen

The Inn was safe, pretty quiet until dark, and a nice place to walk around. We had kids, or adults, running around on the second floor which was pretty loud but only lasted 1-2hrs. We appreciated the golf pro loaning out a golf cart to go back and forth when we checked in to the restaurant, but one of the golf cart staff took it back when we were getting ready. Restaurant staff and front office staff was cordial and accommodating. Room was clean and well kept.

Comfortable bed and room. I applaud the gentleman in the morning. He was working check out and stocking the breakfast food for all of the bridge walkers.

The queen size bed that we had on the second floor was absolutely terrible! My husband and I rolled in to the middle of the bed. The breakfast was just so, so it would be nice if they would look into upgrading their mattresses.

You can hear everything in this place. Kids running up on next floor. Doors closing. Good luck getting to sleep.

Pool and hot tub open late!

We loved this hotel with the indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the putting green. The employees were kind and helpful. The rooms were a bit dated.

When we checked in, the person at the desk gave us no extra information about the property and also did not point us in the direction of where our room was located. Our room had a very distinct odor during our entire stay, and despite the description stating that everything had been updated, we found that to be quite the opposite. The bathroom was very small and run down, the sink faucet handle was not attached, and the shower was still dirty. The beds were clean, but there were stains on our carpeting and the carpet was soaking wet in areas. After speaking with the front desk, we were informed that the carpet was wet from the cleaners doing spot cleaning, but we were unable to get a new room as they were fully booked, and no other accommodations were offered. They said it was spot cleaning, however the area was approximately 3’ by 8’ and right in the main walkway of the room. We wish we would have been informed of this prior to entering our room. We placed towels on the wet carpet and even after being there for 3 days, the towels and carpet were still wet. There is also only 1 outlet available in the middle of the 2 beds, unless you use the extension cord tucked down underneath the nightstand where the phone is plugged in. Overall we would not stay here again & we were very disappointed after seeing how different the rooms are in person compared to how they advertised online.
