Aran View Country House

We stayed at Aran View Country House with a group of 11—our closest family and friends—while in Ireland for our wedding, and it was truly the perfect place for such a special trip. The house had so much space for all of us, and every bedroom having its own bathroom made getting ready incredibly easy and comfortable. There was tons of room for our entire wedding morning, and having a steamer on-site to steam my dress was a lifesaver! We also really appreciated having a washer and dryer available, which made traveling with a big group so much easier. The home itself is stunning—warm, spacious, and perfect for gathering. We loved relaxing in the lounge with the built-in bar, spending time around the pool table, and cooking in the huge commercial-grade kitchen. Preparing big meals was a breeze, and eating together in the full dining room made for such special memories. Sharon, our host, was amazing—quick to respond, incredibly helpful, and so accommodating with letting us and our friends in while we were away. Her staff was just as kind and even baked us fresh scones, which was such a thoughtful and memorable touch. Aran View Country House was everything we hoped for and more. It made our Ireland wedding adventure feel even more magical, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to any group looking for comfort, space, and true Irish hospitality.

Quaint cottage with 4 bedrooms with our own bathrooms, beautiful views and roaming lambs, LOVED IT!!! They had scones and jam for us for the morning 😊

Aran View is a former bed&breakfast, that now is rented as self-catering We are family group of 30 ages 3-70 and rented both sides, plus two apartments. The owner, Sandra opened the door between both sides, so it was like one large 10 bedrdoom manor. The dining room was big enough to fit our whole group and we had a chef come and cook dinner for us - it was a lot of fun and easier with the young children than going out. We also enjoyed hanging out in the bar area with family members playing bartender. The location was excellent for exploring the Aran Islands and Burren.

Booked the Aran view country house for one night for myself and 12 of my work colleagues as we were going to lisdoonvara for a night out, and i must say it was the most fabulous place to stay, the owner Sandra meet us the minute we arrived, and from the minute we met her i must say she was fantasic to deal with, she showed us around the house, she greeted everyone of us with a lovely warm welcome! Sandra also had a lovely batch of freshly home made scones for us! I would highly recommend the Aran view country home for a couple of nights away! Everything was just perfect! 5 stars all the way from me and my work colleagues!

Spent 4 nights here in 2022 and yearn to return. Get a room with west-facing views of fields and ocean. Cuppa tea, good book, and the view. Heavenly. Breakfasts were delicious and substantial. Innkeeper Sharon gave us great guidance and care. The short walk to and from the town was invigorating and the pubs offered delicious meals and music. A coastal path runs to the Cliffs of Moher and there's a bus if you prefer a lift. Such a wonderful town/part of the world/and community.

Beautiful house. Big bedroom with lovely views overlooking the sea. Fabulous breakfast, served to you so no clients bumping into each other! Super friendly and helpful staff. Ideally located for the Cliffs of Moher and trip to Aran Islands. Lots to do at night with music in all the local pubs.

We had a wonderful time staying with my large family in Doolin. The lodge was very clean and comfortable offering plenty of room for my family. The upstairs master suite provided a beautiful view out to the Aran Islands and we had fun walking to the Upper Village of Doolin to the Pubs to listen to some great Irish music! The host, Sharon was very friendly and responsive to any question we had. We would absolutely stay here again!

It was fine but I wouldn’t return. No hot water on arrival for showers and our room was very small with a small double bed. No bottled water. Just what I would assume is tap water in a glass bottle. Breakfast was fine but nothing left out like juices, water etc. so you can’t top up.

A wonderful, friendly and welcoming place. The sun was shining in the mornings to give a perfect view of the Aran Islands. They owners went out of their way to be accommodating during our stay and informative of the area. Quite setting very near pubs and cafes.

My wife and I stayed at Aran View for three nights in room 228. The room was spacious with a king bed, full bath and ocean view. Sharon, is a wonderful host and person. She was so accommodating, she made arrangements for us to feed the lambs ( an atypical request) along with feeding us every morning with a delightful breakfast. The grounds and facilities have been in her family for four generations and it shows in the pride of ownership. Sharon made great local attraction suggestions, all were terrific. We spent two weeks traveling Ireland and this was by far our favorite.
