Plenty of space, near train station but a bit far from city (30 min train). This is good for who wants to stay aside of city. Also host is super kind. I was invited to join shabu dinner and delivered to the Fukushima station. Really grateful.

Sweet and cozy home belonging and being run by a wife and husband and their family. And three silly corgis, when they visit they stay in the patio area. My first night I came the hostess (wife) was there to greet me as well as some others staying there as well. First time in two weeks I’ve talked to people in a hostel, everyone was friendly! I was given a little tour and the run down on how things work. The hostess busted out sake and gyoza for us all to share. She’s SUPER sweet and kind!! Helped me with my bedding, gave me a little map of tattoo friendly onsen, and overall just very kind to me and everyone there. Every time I left she’d say bye, and when I came back she’d greet me. This place may have been 20 mins from the city center (however is directly in onsen town) but I’d stay here again just for the home feel. Bed was a traditional setup and honestly one of the most comfy beds I’ve slept on thus far! Kitchen setup is great!! Patio is large! Two toilets (1 per floor) and a main wet room. Got to meet some interesting people here. 100000/100 recommend a stay here!!
