A lovely quiet weekend, the lodge was lovely and clean and we all enjoyed the hot tub. We will definitely return

The views were beautiful The hot tub was amazing. It was peaceful. Thoughtful homely layout of the lodges. Absolutely stunning surroundings. The staff are awesome and the hot tub guy is epic on the job every day! So impressed with our break away.

It is situated in a peaceful place and is usually only 15 minutes away from things to do/supermarkets to get food and drink from. The Lodges are a good size for guests and the jacuzzis are always well maintained/accessible. Being given some necessities on arrival ie toilet roll and a sponge add to the cleanliness and accessibility. Staff always polite and nice to speak to.

However, when we walked to the property there was a second set of keys still in the door which could affect security. Also, there was a stagnant smell as you walked through, we presume from cleaning and the boiler in the back, so we had to buy some of our own air fresheners/spray to get rid of the smell in the lodge as couldn’t spend the whole time in their with a bad smell. In addition, some of the mattresses have noticeable stains on the sides of them which you notice as soon as you walk in, which even if they are unable to get them out when cleaned they still should be replaced with how much you pay to stay there and just overall hygiene reasons. I think more essentials could be provided such as fair liquid for the sponge given to you and hand wash, as well as the level of self-catering the property is could be made more clear. Maybe just as feedback more entertainment could be provided on site with there not being alot to do around Blackpool, such as a bar and live music, quiz nights, etc.
