Silver Birches Resort

All great and the location is awesome with a marina for boats, firepits etc However the room had a persistent musty, moldy odor — that damp, earthy smell typical of mildew. Unfortunately, all of our clothes ended up absorbing the smell as well, which was quite unpleasant.

The money you pay to stay it’s not worth, because beds are in bad condition mattress was bad and they had spider in side the room and out side the room too And they have bugs inside and when we enter the room it’s have bad smell

It was very relaxing and great scenery. It was a well deserved vacation

One of the recessed ceiling bulbs was burnt out. The two chairs were old and rickety with no seat padding. A new back cover was made and glued to the chair but it was coming off. There was a jacuzzi in the bedroom and a separate bathroom but they only gave you one bar of soap to carry from room to room. A chartreuse board was ordered. They didn’t provide a knife, napkins, or any mustard or condiments. I had a handicap person with me and they only had one handicapped parking spot which was taken. We had to park across the street at the neighboring restaurant. They didn’t have enough parking for all the guests. It was havoc.

The environment and scenery was amazing! They had doggie treats and such there for the pup when we arrived also. I must say though I wish the cleanliness of the rooms equaled the quality demanding of the price spent on the rooms. The floors had dirt, the sheets were not clean and there was hair in the shower drain. And when we wanted the room cleaned, instead of new sheets they just turned the current dirty sheets over. I also wish communication with the front desk was a little clearer. For example I asked two different people two different times including right before, to use a particular grill to cook my lady and I dinner. I stood there prepping and everything and it wasn’t until I literally touched meat to grill did I get four different people four separate times asking me what I’m doing and who told me that was the grill I could use. Not a big deal because I was allowed to finish cooking, but still a little weird.

This was our first visit to this region. The area and property was beautiful. The hotel staff was solicitous and the breakfast was very tasty. We had a great time.

Colleen at the front desk was wonderful!-Breakfast was very good, Location was beautiful, restaurant in walking distance. rooms were lovely with beautiful bathrobes, hair dryers & ironing boards & irons & plenty of towels. Also a mini fridge & small keurig coffee maker with coffee & creamer. 3 fire pits & a lot of chairs all around the property to take in the beautiful view.

the buildings are older-we were woken up by the sounds of the people above us coming in & then again leaving very early in the morning-we asked to change rooms & this was done easily, then the beautiful, updated room had an issue with the heat not turning off, so we needed to run the AC to combat the heat-not a major issue, but a pain.
