I was really grateful for how quiet it was, and there were several good restaurants, several within walking distance. The room was clean and the staff really helpful and kind.

Easy stop on highway 2. Nice aviation museum within walking distance, also some good restaurants nearby. Quite a few antiques stores within walking distance also.

"It was a roof over my head for 2 nights but I definitely wouldn't stay here again."

5.0

The new linoleum floor is nice instead of carpet. Nice big fridge if you needed.

The place is quite run down. There's water damage and cracks in the wall in the bathroom, the shower head was like a water hose, just one giant stream. You can see the box spring/bottom mattress and they are FILTHY, a combination of black and yellow staining, so it makes you question the cleanliness of the remainder of the room.

My niece was just charged $20.00 for a dirty towel! Maybe they should use some bleach, makes you wonder how sanitary any of the towels or bedding is! The rooms are outdated. I think you should look at a different place to stay!

Not the greatest experience and would defiantly not recommend. Upon arriving there were police there dealing with something and people drinking outside observing the action. Our room was outdated and had magazines from the 80’s in it. Pretty sure the mattress was also from the 80’s as it looked old and we could feel the springs when laying down. There was no wifi or coffee in the rooms. Thankfully there was AC as it was a hot night in Alberta. The door had a visible crack between the frame and there was no deadbolt. The only saving grace about the motel is that it was clean.

"Trying to contact the manager"

2.0

On my way to the hotel I became very indecisive because of timing (I was arriving earlier than expected & wanted to continue further on my drive). I called the hotel and spoke with the man at the front desk. I said upfront that I knew I was past the free cancellation period, but was just checking to see if it would be possible to cancel for a full refund. He told me that it was up to hotels.com. I called hotels.com (but after I checked the weather and a severe hail storm was expected in route that meant I wanted to stop driving). The representative said it was up to the hotel. So I called back & told the front desk person that I DID NOT want to cancel my reservation if I couldn’t get a refund, that I would be there within an hour. He calls me back from a different number 50 minutes later to tell me that his manager approved the cancelation for a full refund & would be sending me a confirmation email. We got disconnected so I called back on the normal line & he said that, yes, I would be receiving a full refund, that my reservation was canceled, & hung up on me to serve someone in the lobby. It has been a week. I have not received the confirmation email or the refund. I’ve called to try to talk to the manager a few times but the front desk person says they are not there & doesn’t know when they will be. I wouldn’t write a review except I have no other way to contact the manager about the front desk person continually misrepresenting the truth.
