Lovely cozy clean good vibration place. The owner - a Japanese lady - is friendly and helpful. So is the staff. The bed and the sheets are lovely - so comfortable and most importantly clean and washed! Bathroom is clean and everything works. The balcony in my room has a lovely sunset view. The food is also fantastic and reasonably priced. Its a stone's throw from Norbulingka and few nice restaurants in the vicinity. I would definitely stay here again.

My room faced the road. So I could hear traffic (which is not a lot given that the guesthouse is on a small inner road) and people talking downstairs and on the road. Its not the worst, but not quiet. Nights are quiet though. The fan in my room upon was not working. The owner called an electrician to fix the fan. The geyser was also not working so not hot water. This should be checked by the management before renting the room. Bot the fan and the geyser not working reflects badly on the management and staff. The owner kept saying - I didn't know. Well, she should know, shouldn't she? If the facilities in the room are not working? They did send an electrician but overall management was a little lax for both the issues.
