"It was dirty and smelly I don’t recommend this place."

We rented the room and cannot make the key open the door we called the Front desk assistant he came and open the door for us and gave us another key, So we went to our event when we came me back it was late the door open. We have to come back to the desk because nobody answered. The phone waited in the cold lady went back-and forth and finally let us in the room .

"It did the job"

8.0

It did what it was supposed to do. Gave me a place to shower and lay my head for a few hours after driving 16 hours. Oh and a safe location to park my truck and trailer.

That the internet connection was not working properly.

"Great value and better than I expected."

9.0

This motel looks a bit sketchy on the outside, but the rooms have been redone and my room was clean and perfectly acceptable for the price. I stayed the night before an Auburn football game and it was a perfect place to sleep for the best price in the area. I will stay there again.

"If Auburn had a Portal to Hell"

1.0

That i did not have to sleep in the car.

After searching 12 hours in the area for a place with vacancy, we booked here. We were "welcomed" by the front desk, signed in, and went to our room. My wife was so exhausted that she went straight to sleep. I thought "shower." But it's the equivalent of what I expect a prison shower would be, a hole in the floor with a hospital thin platic dingy curtain. Water freely flows into the whole bathroom. There was no furniture. Just one bedside table and a broken chair. Not any place to store or set your things. No closets, no drawers, no table. Nothing. There was a mini fridge with a busted microwave on top of it. I caught a man touching himself outside my window and had to run him off. It had clearly been wrecked and repaired by somebody's uncles cousins nephew because the drywall literally moved if you poked repaired spots. (We are contractors) Oh. Roaches as well. And like mismatched bedding mostly looked like yard sale stuff. I mean, why snowflakes it's like 80 degrees out. It's like so bad I actually started laughing and making light of it. $90???? I apologized to my wife. And then the staff banged on the door 3 times BEFORE check out. Yelled at me for having a service animal (with papers), spit at my feet, and demanded i pay a pet fee. Threatened the police. Mind you, I answered calmly to deescalate, thought maybe it was a language barrier, explained and told him I informed his staff. And he still screamed at me and called me names and scared my dog. I literally asked for a handicapped room because of my disability. Which is plainly visible. This place is where you go to do drugs and hire hookers. Avoid at all cost. The car is better. There is a rest stop just a few miles away from this hotel, save your money, order a pizza, drive there, watch Netflix and find another spot. On site security, clean bathrooms, safe, clean. Far better. I would not stay at Carpet Inn again if they paid me.
