Kasai Village Dive Resort

Very nice staff

All services are at least double priced when compared to outside. 10-20% increase I can understand, and would make the convenience worth it. However, not 100%. And it's located far and in a very bad road which also makes it harder to access services outside.

The property is clean, very nice outlook and good wifi The pool is very nice, well maintained.

Beds are very firm, the dirt road leading to the hotel is in very poor condition. Showers have no water pressure. Must have a scooter or arrange transport to town centre.

We had a wonderful stay at the Kasai Resort. Rooms were in great condition, spacious and we had an amazing view of the sea and sunsets. Very peaceful resort with good food at the restaurant and very friendly staff. The pool is warm and the outdoor area is really nicely organised. Highlight of our stay by far was the diving. I did my open water diving certification with Jia who was an incredible instructor and remained very kind and calm when I felt nervous, and by the end I was feeling so much more confident and had seen some amazing things during our dives! My husband was already certified and he was able to go on multiple dives per day with the boat and also to the resort’s house reef. Panagsama beach was about 10 minutes drive away by tuktuk which the hotel would organise for us, with loads of restaurants for dinner. The hotel’s desk is 24 hours and they’re always available via WhatsApp for queries.

The lights above the bed were quite a harsh bright green colour which wasn’t particularly calming at night! Nothing else that we’d change about our stay.

The location and view, that’s all

The property was unfortunately not worth the amount we paid. Before arriving, I had informed the hotel that this was our honeymoon and asked if they could do something special for my wife. They responded saying they would take care of it, but nothing was arranged. When we later asked at reception, the staff had no idea about the request. We also faced issues with the room itself. The flush was not working properly, and although room service came twice for cleaning, they did not restock basic supplies. The body wash and shampoo bottles were unlabeled, so we could not even tell which was which. The view from the property was definitely beautiful, but overall the service and experience did not justify the price we paid.

All of the staff were incredibly nice, welcoming. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with amazing views. The dive team were fabulous and it was great value for money would highly recommend to anyone wishing to participate in some amazing dives or even just a good place to stay while in Moalboal

Resorts like this are made by the staff and the staff here were wonderful. I can't say enough nice things about them. Jai especially was the shining star. So friendly, so helpful. The fact that the handle all your dive kit makes all the difference. I won't want to be wrestling with my equipment on a holiday. It should be restful, fun... not a chore! The dive boat was simple, but clean and wasn't busy.

The rooms need a bit of attention. The water pressure was terrible. But the rooms were very large.
