MRD Beach Hotel

Nous avions réservé 2 chambres (3 nuits) : l'une pour nos 3 enfants (adolescents) et l'autres pour nous, parents. Les chambres et leur salle de bain privative sont bien agencées et très confortables. Le mobilier est de qualité (bois exotique). La propreté est irréprochable. Très agréable piscine devant les chambres et serviettes de bain fournies. Ambiance calme et baignade non autorisée après 22h. Devant chaque chambre : chaises, petite table et étendoir à linge privatifs très appréciables, et toujours en bois. Très bon petit déjeuner : "English breakfast" pour nous, mais un petit déjeuner d'inspiration plus locale est également proposé. Cadre agréable avec tables et chaises en bois dans grande pièce à grandes baies vitrées, parfaitement climatisée. Le personnel est souriant, discret et très aimable. Le patron de l'hôtel est toujours disponible et parle très bien l'anglais. Il nous a organisé une sortie en bateau afin de rencontrer les dauphins et nager parmi poissons, tortue... (matériel prêté), mémorable! L'accès à la plage est très simple (4 minutes à pieds). C'est une plage de sable blanc avec de nombreux transats sous parasol, nombreux restaurants, centres de plongée...

Le linge que nous avons fait nettoyer sur place présentait encore des traces de terre. Par ailleurs, un des deux sacs de linge rendu n'était pas à nous mais l'erreur a été vite corrigée.

The location, the cleaning of room

The staff are amazing and go the extra mile. The very relaxed atmosphere and the super swimming pool. The bed was very comfortable for my back. Breakfast was plentiful and very good. Only a 2-minute walk to a wonderful beach with full use of beach chairs, umbrellas, and restaurants. Great value for a beach holiday.

Die Lage ist sehr nah am Strand.

Die Zimmer sind dunkel und dreckig. Wir haben uns auf die guten Bewertungen verlassen und wurden leider sehr enttäuscht. Ein sehr schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis leider. Der Pool war uns zu trüb zum schwimmen, dabei ist der noch das beste an dem Hotel. Die Wände waren total schmutzig, Flecken bis unter die Decke. Das Bad wurde definitiv nicht richtig geputzt bevor wir kamen. Die Zahnpastareste der Vorgänger war noch im Zahnputz-Glas. Der Abfluss roch unangenehm. Die Handtücher waren zerschlissen und hatten teilweise Flecken. Im Bad wurde die Decke mit Klebeband gehalten.

We found that Trinco was quite busy so there was not much choice left… the hotel is in a good location and the pool is nice.

Rooms average with basic bathrooms and very noisy air conditioning. Staff pleasant but sometimes strange things happened like they kept taking or drying rack to give to other rooms! Hello we are still in our room… Ok if nothing else available in the price range but expensive for what the rooms are like.

The Hotel did not look like the pictures which was a bit disconcerting just on arrival. We are so glad we stayed! We had really good sleeps, the place was incredibly clean, and the staff with a friendliest we had on our whole trip. They always went out of their way to say hello and to ask if we needed help with anything. And then there were a breakfast, lots of food, plenty of extra helpings and a really nice room to enjoy it in.

The only thing I didn’t like is it didn’t really look like the pictures

Room and pool access great. Beach 5 minutes walk away. Loads of restaurants in walking distance. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful.
