This was probably the most efficiently designed hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. It was comfortable, clean and had every amenity you could hope for: kettle, microwave, fridge, washing machine and a shower room that operates as a clothes dryer. The staff was incredibly helpful and even reached out to arrange getting an item that was left behind in our room. It was also well situated in the city for getting around. I will definitely be returning to stay when in Kyoto again!

This hotel is as good as it gets. It is in a perfect location right next to the Nishiki market and train stations. The room and the facilities were exceptionally clean. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The owner does a fantastic job of running the place and making it feel like he has invited to your home rather than a hotel.

Excellent location and facilities , very convenient and near to markets, main streets and stations but also it is in a very quiet street so no disturbance. Very clean and the washing machine and drying room were so useful. Most of all, the amazing welcoming staff who went out of their way to recommend routes, provide maps. Mr Yoshi even took it upon himself to ring around when our Japanese skills were lacking to try and secure us a venue to watch Japan in the World Cup Great value too

Would 100% recommend for location, staff and vibe but would probably book the premium room next time to enjoy some extra space
