Real onsen, location close enough too everything yet not too central with too much people, walking distance to most of the tourist sites, staff very friendly

There were lots of Taiwanese people staying and they DID NOT TAKE SHOWER before going into the onsen, I tried tell them but😅 I feel like maybe in Taiwan they don’t require to shower before going into onsen, please put more obvious onsen guide for those who doesn’t know,

スタッフのみなさんの、カジュアルな感じだけどキチンとした感じが心地よかったです。 シングルルームですが、お部屋にゆとりがあって狭さを感じませんでした。 壁やドアが厚いのか？室内がとても静かに感じました。 大浴場もゆったり使えて良かったです。 新しさは感じませんが、清潔で過ごしやすかったです。 アメニティも充実していて助かりました。 「駅から近くない」という口コミを見たのですが、駅から古い街並みの間くらいの位置なので、私には最適な場所でした。

"I decided to stay two nights longer just because of how comfortable this hotel made me feel."

That was the best hotel i stayed at during my 2 months in Japan. Most comfortable bed, pillows and covers. Access to onsite onsen with, walking distance from everything needed during your stay in Takayama.

Cleaning hours of onsen could be pushed a little further into the day.
