Beautiful apartment, the owner is very nice and knows the area very well.

Very cosy, lovely rain shower and very comfortable beds! Has all the facilities you need on a snow trip and very cosy and warm. The views out the window are also so nice to look at. The Bluetooth speaker is also really nice for playing tunes in the evening. Really enjoyed my stay here.

Tanin was very responsive and helpful. Not only were there stickers all over the house to explain how things worked in English, he even recommended a tune-up for our ski/snowboard and stayed to ensure the transaction went smoothly. This definitely was the icing on the cake for this stay!

The house was generally not sound-proof, as with most Japanese houses, but the stairs were especially noisy. Not only was our staircase creaky, so too were our neighbors'. As the house layout only had a bathroom on the first floor, hearing people walking up and down is going to be a norm. The walls too are very thin, higher pitched voices/laughter travels through them very clearly.

There was no TV in the cabin, no where to throw away our trash bags, there was a lot of ants the cabin, also no coffee machine. Although the owner did bring us a drip coffee maker which helped out a lot. Also the air conditioner did not turn on for us so it was pretty warm in the cabin.
