Domus Glamping Guatapé

Such an adventure! Domus is an all-around fantastic experience. The place is even more beautiful than the photos and the views are spectacular. It is located right on the reservoir with a dock fully-equipped with kayaks, paddle boards, a boat, and a jet ski. The tents are a good size and feel luxurious, but it can get cold at night. The bathroom is surprisingly nice for glamping (it is on the deck below your tent). The staff (especially Cristina and Leo) are always ready to help and super friendly. The breakfast was great and very punctual–we pre-ordered the night before and came back from kayaking to find fresh fruit and eggs benedict waiting for us on the terrace. Organizing rides to and from the hotel is really easy. There are a lot of really great activities in the area (paragliding, ATV, kayaking, Guatapé, la Piedra del Peñol) so plan ahead and make sure you have enough time to do it all! Quick note–breakfast is only included the first morning, any additional meals cost extra. It's no big deal, it isn't that expensive especially because of the exchange rate, but they do something similar with the airport shuttle. They say that the airport shuttle is included, but they just connect you with a driver. You still have to pay the driver. I think this is pretty much standard in Colombia, happened at our other hotel in Medellín, too. But be careful with hidden fees (looking at you, uncorking fee for outside wines...)

Domus Glamping is a most have experience. The staff were very helpful especially since my spanish is almost none existing. It's a great place for couples. Domus offers only 6 rooms. We stayed in room 5 which had a great view of the river. Our room had a jacuzzi an outdoor eating space and an in door eating space. Guest can eat in their rooms or in the check-in building, but there really wasn't any point in doing that since we had a great view from our room. In the 3 days we were there, we tried most of the food options. The food was great in flavor and presentation. There were options for activities that are included in the room costs; Kayaking, paddle board and they can also provide Jet skis (additional cost). All in all it was a wonderful experience.

Es un lugar demasiado hermoso,tranquilo, limpio, tiene una vista espectacular, es muy agradable en todo sentido, los empleados son demasiado amables y atentos, en especial David, es un empleado increíble, siempre pendiente en lo que te pueda servir, y con la mejor actitud. Mi pareja y yo nos vamos enamorados de este lugar .
