The location was great and the apartment was lovely. It exceeded our expectations as we didn't expect such big terraces. It had everything you'd need in an apartment. We had a wonderful stay. It is quite hilly, expect to get in shape after your stay here but the distance to the town's plaza and bus stop that gets you to Amalfi coast and Naples is just 3 mins walk. The owner was so sweet, she helped us have a seamless check-in and check-out, and always made sure we were ok during our stay.

A bit hard to get there (more than what we expected), you can only take a bus from amalfi which takes an hour and is not very frequent + need to walk up a hill a bit from the centre of San Lazzaro

After few days in Naples it was a great change of pace. Great view from balcony, neighborhood quiet and calm. just 5 minutes walk to local stores and bus stop. Kitchen was fully equipped as well as bathroom. Owner made us also a laundry when I asked for it and let us stay a few extra hours after check out so we could take a bus to naples without getting wet because it was raining, which was great :) people in local shops are also very kind and helpful.

If you come like us via plane and then want to travel everywhere with public community, the connection is not so great and the buses are fully packed so you really need to fight for your place especially if you want to come back home from amalfi. It is just a heads up for everyone else thinking about coming here, it is better to have own means of transportation in this region, but be prepared also for some crazy drivers :)

hard to reach by car

Everything went well, starting with the communication with the host before the arrival and all our stay there. Our host was flexible with the check-in time and waited for us at the arranged time. She kindly explained everything we needed. On one day she even shared with us a homemade cake which was delicious :) We were very impressed and grateful for such a welcoming attitude. The room was cosy, comfortable, clean. It included a small cooking and eating place with all the essentials, so we could prepare a warm dinner and a proper breakfast. The location is very convenient, at 2-3 min from the bus station and from all the shops, pub and caffee. The Path of the Gods is close and it is AMAZING. Amalfi is also easily to reach by bus in aprox 50 min and the public transportation is cheap. The area is very peaceful, silent and feels safe. We totally recommend this place!

I would suggest in the bathroom a small shelf were you could place your personal hygiene products.
