Super Hotel Hakodate

Room is small but very clean. All of the staffs are friendly. There are some pillow choices in the lobby which I found very unique . Their breakfast is also super, better than a 5 star hotel one. I will not hesitate to recommend this hotel

We booked a triple room and stayed for 2 nights. This hotel is about 10-15mins away from the Hakodate JR station and morning market. The reception is closed from 10am to 3pm daily. During this time, You can press the bell to go into the lobby area but you cant check in. You can leave your luggage with the reception. Rooms in Japan is small so does this hotel. We were given a room on the highest floor, facing the seaview. Space is a tight for 3 luggage. The toilet seat comes with a warmer, nice to seat on a cold day. Towels and soap is provided. There's kettle and tv in the room. Very clean room. There is free wifi and breakfast. The hotel encouraged environmental conservation. Any unused toothbrushes could be returned to the reception and exchange for a piece of royce chocolate.. There is free hot spring in the hotel at given timings. Service was great.. no doubt in Japan. Nothing to complain about.

Small budget hotel located just few steps from tram stop,and one stop from JR Hakodate station. Very easy access for tourist attractions by tram. Room,bed and amenities inside is small and acceptable for just stay after wandering around all day. Staff was polite and nice. Breakfast was japanese-style and moderate viriety of food.

Good quality, breakfast and onsen hot spring. It's relatively standard size among hotels in Japan, but well organized and equipped. 10 minutes walk from JR station or Taxi for 5 minutes(550yen). Strongly recommended if you have a tight budget for your trip;)

Located about 10-15 mins walk from JR station although a tram (1 stop) would cut that to less than 5. Space is right for up to 3 adults but they allowed me, my wife and two young kids without extra charges. We had to sign extra disclaimer for any potential damages which was fair. Room comes with various tablet and smartphone charger but wifi was weak in room. Breakfast is local style and relatively generous (buffet style).

You can walk to this hotel from Hakodate train station, I did. It's a 10-15mins walk. Or take the tram, 2 stations away. Nothing much around this hotel, and there is a convenience store within 5 mins walk. Modern facilities, there is no room key, just passcode. Good if you have good memory. Free onsen on ground floor, but there is only one, so there are different times slot of men/women. If you're women, you will have around 4 hours per day to enjoy the onsen. The onsen is a very small one anyway. Terrible internet connection. I am a freelance worker who rely on the internet connection to make a living, this hotel gave me a day of holiday because the internet just didn't work well. Rooms are clean, i had a nice sleep.

a little bit disappointed because the hotel quite far from JR station, the room are really too small, however the concept is good, and modern enough. the buffet style breakfast are heart warming and nice. unlimited machine drinks provided during breakfast hours really thumbs up!

Good Super Hotel standards. Friendly and helpful staff. Room is reasonably sized for properties of this type.Comes with complimentary breakfast and use of hot spring. Less than 10 minutes walk to JR station, alternatively can take city tram (just 1 stop away). But do beware of small bathroom.
