Das es eine Gemeinschaftsküche gab, welche wohl gut ausgestattet war, da einige dort tägliche ganze Menüs gekocht haben. Der Zugang zum Wald. Waschmaschine und trockner standen zur Verfügung. Inhaberin hat uns einge tips via WhatsApp gesent.

Die Unterkunft wurde anders angepriesen als wir es vorgefunden haben. Wir hatten ein Zimmer direkt neben der Küche. Der ganze Küchegestank dringte durch die Türen. Wir waren wohl die einzigen Gäste, die ein Bad hatten, da neben dem Flur einige ihren morgenrutinen nachgingen und dort auch viele Haare rumlagen, etwas schmudelig. Das Zimmer wurde mit Strohmatten ausgelegt, welche etwas rochen. Wir hatten mit zwei "Betten" gebucht, jedoch als wir ankamen war eine Matratze auf dem Boden. Naja, hatten dann eine dünne matte gefunden, welche nicht kompatibel war. Auch hatten wir keine Terasse wie auf den Bildern, diese ist vor der Tür und allen zugänglich. Auch wurden wir durch die Behörde von Kyoto ausgefragt, welche uns sagte, dass diese Unterkunft noch keine Berechtigung hat. Mega schade so viel Geld für eine schlechte Qualität.

Guesthouse without staff, cleaning not done every day, chaos at check-in. House wide open, no locks , no security. Backpackers pad , but for hotel prices. Description not accurate.

Guesthouse is at the end of a steep 10 minute climb up the hill. Garbage not picked up every day, so garbage bins are overflowing. You expect a ryokan but get a no-staff guesthouse. Kitchen has a few badly scratched teflon pans and 2 plates and bowls for 20 guests. Top floor rooms share 2 toilets and 2 showers between 10 people. Without adequate cleaning. Rooms share paper thin walls, so you can hear each other perfectly through the walls. No front door lock, so people can come in. No staff to prevent this. Flimsy locks on guest doors. No value for money.

京都市内で宿泊できることを考えると値段は安い。国道に降りるとすぐ地下鉄の駅があり、移動しやすいので観光には便利。 古い民家が綺麗にリフォームされていて、清潔。 共用の洗濯機があり、雨で濡れた服を洗濯できたのは助かった。 宿の裏は遊歩道になっていて、琵琶湖から京都市内流れる水路や天智天皇陵、多くの寺院に歩いて行けるので、歴史に詳しい人はそれだけで一日楽しめるかも。 コインパーキングは24時間で700円ほど。京都市内の観光地は15分で300円の場所も珍しくないので、車で来た人は安心して停められる。京都市内は想像以上に外国人観光客でごった返しており、慢性的に渋滞するので、地下鉄やバス移動がオススメ。

坂の上にあり、最寄りのコインパーキングまでは徒歩で往復する。荷物と家族を坂の上の宿に先に降ろし、国道沿いの駐車場まで車を停めに行き、さらに徒歩で登らなくてはならない。私が泊まった日は不運にも雨で、歩くのは大変。歩いていけない距離ではないが、宿は住宅地の中にあり、すぐ近くに自動販売機等はない。ゲストハウスなので台所やトイレは共用で、他の客（外国人）が汚したものを少し掃除した。元は普通の民家なので他の客の声は普通に聞こえる。

The woman who runs the guest house is obviously too busy with other guest houses as she confused our booking and when we arrived there were no instructions and no lights on and it was very arranged. We called her and she had mixed up our booking (not a huge deal) but she kept yelling and screaming on the phone to us, leaving many messages too. Seemed a little busy, scattered and crazy. When we had the place to our selves it was lovely and clean but then the over booked it to a too full house and there were hairs and dirty things in showers and bathrooms left by other guests. Too hard for the cleaner to clean.
